In 2015, Asia Petroleum Limited partnered with Reon for a 143.8 kW solar power project. The project involved formulating the design, execution, testing and commissioning of the on-grid Solar System that would power their facility in Karachi. APL became one of the pioneering facilities in Pakistan to showcase solar car sheds.

The project is expected to generate 200,000 kWh of energy annually and offset carbon emissions by 130 tonnes.
