With a strong commitment to sustainability and a green energy future, Asia Petroleum Limited (APL) joined forces with Reon Energy in 2015 to bring a 144 kW solar power project to life. This initiative aimed to power APL’s facility in Karachi with clean, renewable energy and set a new standard for sustainability in the region.

The scope of work included the complete design, engineering, and installation of an on-grid solar system, with the project being executed with the highest standards of quality and safety. The system was expertly installed, tested and commissioned to ensure optimal performance and energy generation.

As a result of this visionary partnership, APL became one of the first facilities in Pakistan to showcase solar car sheds, generating an expected 200,000 kWh of clean energy annually, and offsetting an impressive 130 tonnes of carbon emissions.
