Service Export Corporation partnered with Reon to implement its green energy vision earlier in 2017 when renewable was still finding its footing in Pakistan. This project not only gave Service an advantage in the international export arena, but also gave Service the status of being the pioneers in sustainability.
The 1 MW plant has created roughly 40 semi-skilled jobs during plant installation. The solar plant generates an approximate 1350 MWh of energy annually while it offsets carbon emissions by 517 tonnes. This project was also one of the first largest net-metering installations by Reon.

This project, with its towering presence, generates a staggering 1,412 MWh of energy annually, effectively reducing carbon emissions by a massive 868 tonnes. The success of this project marked a new era in Eastern Dairies’ history and their quest towards a sustainable future.

With a passion to find a low-cost, clean energy alternative to overcome the recurring challenges posed by gas shortages and rising gas tariffs, AJ Textile Limited entered into a strategic partnership with Reon Energy. The 1 MW rooftop solar system installed at their facility in Gadoon Amazai Industrial Estate represents a major milestone in AJ Textile’s journey towards energy independence.
The installation of this ambitious project was not an easy feat, as the team had to navigate the unique challenges posed by the inverted T-beam roof structure. However, with their relentless dedication, ingenuity and technical expertise, Reon Energy rose to the challenge, and not only conquered it but did so with Zero Loss Time Incident (LTI) in just 5 months.
As a result of this project, AJ Textile now generates an awe-inspiring 1,444 MW of energy annually, effectively offsetting a massive 888 tonnes of carbon emissions. This solar system is a testament to Reon’s commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions that drive positive impact and encourage a cleaner, more sustainable future.

In 2018, Engro partnered with Reon for a 938 kW solar power project. The project involved formulating the design, execution, testing and commissioning of the on-grid Solar System that would power their site in Muridke. The site was commissioned in December 2018.

To comply with RE100, which is the global corporate renewable energy initiative, PepsiCo shifted to solar installation to achieve its renewable targets.
As PepsiCo’s vision is to deliver top-tier financial performance over the long term by integrating sustainability into their business strategy, they partnered with Reon for solar installation to reduce the energy cost of their current energy mix.
Before this, PepsiCo heavily relied on the grid and a shift was necessary due to the expected price hike in grid tariffs. By installing the solar power plant, it has achieved a Levelized cost leading to 50% of savings vs. on the grid.

The solar power project was installed at Safeline Super Asia which is a leading electronics conglomerate based in Pakistan. The company heavily relied on the grid and a shift to solar was necessary due to the hike in grid prices.
Safeline Super Asia partnered with Reon for solar installation to reduce the energy cost of their current energy mix due to the expected price hike in grid tariffs. By installing the solar power plant, Safeline Super Asia achieved a Levelized cost leading to 60% of savings vs. on the grid.

Solar Power Project: 817 kW

Samira, in its quest to revolutionize its energy production, partnered with Reon Energy to bring forth a game-changing solution. The 818 kW project was commissioned in the second quarter of 2020 and was strategically located at Samira’s facility in Faisalabad, known for its energy challenges posed by severe gas load shedding during winter months.
This cutting-edge project features an innovative design, incorporating four different roof types, including flat reinforced concrete, flat double-T, flat prefabricated slabs, and ducts located at different points, making it a pioneer in the industry. The project not only helped in creating jobs for roughly 40 individuals, but also gave Samira the much-needed edge to stay ahead of the competition.
The project is a testament to the unwavering commitment of Samira and Reon towards a greener future. With an expected generation of 1,103 MWh of energy annually and an offset of 678.5 tonnes of carbon emissions, this project is a beacon of hope in the journey towards a sustainable future.
